EXTREMELY RARE Antique PEACOCK CHOCOLATE MOLD. This is a RARE find indeed! This is a FRENCH Chocolate Mold. Made by SOMMET, PARIS, FRANCE. This Mold measures 10 1/2″ tall by 10″ wide. No markings on the mold. This mold fits together snugly. It is in very good used antique condition. VERY Clean inside and can be used to mold chocolate. See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina. This mold has honest wear and was in service many decades. Rare Antique French Copper Chocolate Bonbon Fish Molds “Poissons” Paris France. From the famous Foire de Chatou, the large Brocante or French flea market held twice yearly for over a century on the outskirts of Paris. Made of copper, tin coated. It has no maker mark or export mark but is the identical fish molds so possibly from around 1900. It has wear with age. Copper side is polished and decorative with triangle ring to hang on the wall. Antique Letang Fils Paris France HALLOWEEN HATCHING VULTURE Chocolate Mold. ANTIQUE HALLOWEEN HATCHING BIRD CHOCOLATE MOLD. Wonderful antique heavy molded tin metal three-dimensional chocolate mold measuring about 4-1/4″ in size and 2″ wide. Featuring an unusual Halloween theme hatching buzzard or vulture bird in egg, bird head is breaking out the egg, and feet stick out the base. Bearing the wrinkled little head and long beak typical of the bird, mold is designed with an angled bracket as shown – bracket sides are numbered 2030 and tab is marked LETANG FILS PARIS. Well made, heavy and just a wonderful antique mold – it is currently wired together and includes a slide clip – stands independently for display – typical patination and darkening to the metal from age – interior has light spotting and discoloration. Minor surface this big guy has lots of personality – sits flat and displays beautifully. Offering a set of three (3) antique. LeTang, Fils, Paris, France, metal 2-piece oyster shell chocolate molds. All are marked with LeTang’s oval mark. Two are marked with the mold number 1600 and one is marked 1601. There are a couple oval date marks but they are illegible. The two 1600s measures approximately 4″ by 2 5/8″.
