Marked ” Made in Germany ” on both halves, 8467 on one side as well as Van Emden Co. New York, on the other. Appears this mold was made specifically for the New York business. This mold was made by Herman Walter, Berlin Germany, the first German factory of chocolate molds. They were in business from 1866 to 1970. This mold is attributed to the 1930’s. Measures 4″ high and 4″ across. It is in wonderful vintage/used condition. Wear commensurate with age. Nice and shiny inside. Please review All my photos as I consider them part of the description.
