Antique Chocolate Mold Resting Sheep Lamb (Made in Germany or France)

For your consideration is a charming little antique chocolate mold of a resting lamb/sheep/ewe. It has nice age to it. It is double sided and the original clips are included. This is one of three lamb/sheep molds that I have listed. Early molds were manufactured in France and Germany. This mold does not have a mark for a country of origin, but is likely from one of those countries. It would make a darling addition to a folk art Easter display or used to display with other assorted molds. Perhaps it could be used as a beeswax mold. Height – 3 3/4. Width (at base) – 2 1/4. LETANG FILS PARIS CHOCOLATE MOLD. Acquired at an estate sale is this antique Letang Fils Paris egg shaped chocolate mold. See photos for hallmarks including “1521 8″ on one and 1529 8 on the other half. Each half measures 5 ¼ inches across from tab to tab, inside measures about 2 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches by 1 ¼ inches. Wonderful Antique REVOLVER TOY GUN Chocolate Mold. This mold is made by Sommet of Paris, France. Stamped with the numbers 1523. Hard to see the numbers, but they are there. Measures 3 1/2″ tall by 7″ wide and 1 deep. This mold and fits together snugly. In Very good used antique condition. See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and maybe a tiny rust speck and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. This mold is listed in CHOCOLATE MOULDS A History & Encyclopedia by Judene Divone page 94. Also dhows a photo. This is in nice antique condition. Antique Vintage BIG FISH Chocolate Mold. This Mold is made by Matfer in Paris, France. But It is not signed. The mold is signed with Made in France. Pictured and listed in. CHOCOLATE MOULDS A History & Encyclopedia by Judene Divone. This Mold is highly rated as a B2. Dates of manufacture were 1907 to 1950. This mold would make a solid chocolate Fish. Nice heavy gauge metal used for this mold. This mold is in Very Nice Beautiful Condition. This mold fits nice and tight together and it is a truly matched mold.
