Wonderful antique heavy molded tin metal three-dimensional chocolate mold measuring about 4-1/4″ in size and 2″ wide. Featuring an unusual Halloween theme hatching buzzard or vulture bird in egg, bird head is breaking out the egg, and feet stick out the base. Bearing the wrinkled little head and long beak typical of the bird, mold is designed with an angled bracket as shown – bracket sides are numbered 2030 and tab is marked LETANG FILS PARIS. Well made, heavy and just a wonderful antique mold – it is currently wired together and includes a slide clip – stands independently for display – typical patination and darkening to the metal from age – interior has light spotting and discoloration. Minor surface this big guy has lots of personality – sits flat and displays beautifully.
