The offered form was made for the company Magus by Anton Reiche. On The bottom the are marked Magus. The hinged bottom panel of this mold has the name Magus in reversed lettering. The name appears on every finished chocolate. Anton Reiche molds with hinged bottom are rare. I could not find anything to Magus company. The serial number is 8382. The number 4 is marked on both sides of the. The hinged base plate is marked with the sign. Means: German Reichsgebrauchsmuster = registered design of the German. In reality, the shapes look better than in the photos. Wide 3 2/8 at the wides Point. Height 3 4/8 at the highest Point. ======================================= With traces of use. I will offer some incredible, rare and fabulous molds not seen in a long time. In the next couple of weeks I will part with my Santa/ Father Christmas collection just in time for the Holiday Season. Please note that the condition of the molds are consistent with their age and prior use. This means scratches, dents and traces of rust. There has been no effort made at restoration so not to compromise the molds intrinsic value. Such a wonderful special mold!! I have a very hard time letting go of this one. This is a Kutzscher 3 D (3 parts) mold circa 1920, very unusual with incredible detail. The kids faces are so adorable along with the details of 1920’s children’s clothing. All three parts are stamped with the # 7. The width is 6 3/4″ , the height 7 3/4″ A truly one of a kind wonderful mold. A must for every collection.
