Wonderful Antique Vintage AFRICAN WOMAN IN GRASS SKIRT Chocolate Mold. This is a RARE find indeed! This mold is made by the Vormeneabrick of Tilberg, Holland. Stamped with the numbers 16139. Seldom found this, African Woman in Grass Skirt measures 5″ tall by 3 1/2″ wide and 2 1/4 deep. This mold and fits together snugly. In good used antique condition. There is some scratching of the face – See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and maybe a tiny rust speck and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina. This mold has honest wear and was in service many years. A mold is pictured in THE CHOCOLATE MOULD BY LAURE & HENRY DORCHY. This is a RARE mold and in antique vintage condition. This Fabulous AFRICAN WOMAN IN GRASS SKIRT Chocolate Mold would make a Wonderful addition to your collection! A Very Rare Mold!

This mold is one of the most amazing that I’ve ever had and certainly one of the oldest. This is copper and dates back to about 1900. It’s pictured in the Wolf book on chocolate molds on page 30. This is copper lined with tin on the inside. Some of the earliest chocolate molds were made with copper. The detail on this is just exquisite. Stamped 140 on one side. That is the mold number. 5 1/2 inches tall and about 5 inches wide. Has a lot of patina and verdigris. Inside is lined with tin and has a few small rust spots.
