Hard to find vintage, antique very heavy hand constructed & soldered iron metal commercial chocolate mold in a strawberry pattern. 12 rows, 6 chocolates across = 72 chocolate capacity. Measures a rectangular 16″ x 9-1/2″ x 1. Excellent photo prop for kitchen, chocolatier or candy store. Metal Chocolate Molds were first produced in France in 1830, and continued to be used until about 1960 when they were replaced by lighter less expensive plastic and now silicone molds. Are still excellent props for antique kitchen decor, chocolatier or candy stores. Condition is commensurate with an item of this age and use – vintage antique preowned & commercially used.
