For Sale: Two Old Antique Chocolate Metal Molds – Rare Vintage Christmas Candy Molds of Boy Sledding Down a Hill and Boy Skiing. The first antique chocolate metal mold is of a BOY SLEDDING DOWN A HILL catalog number 4652 measures approx. 6 1/2″ x 3″ at widest points is by LETANG, PARIS, FRANCE according to Collector’s Guide to Antique Chocolate Molds. The second mold is of a BOY SKIER which measures approx. 6 1/2″ x 3″ at its widest points, showing catalog mold number 15485 on both pieces. These are two very unusual molds which are perfect to start a Christmas collection or to add to an existing one. Just in time to display during the holidays or for use in crafting. Because of age, I personally feel that these antiques might not be food grade and should not be used for making chocolate. Please see my other antique chocolate molds just in time for the holidays. Wonderful RARE Antique Vintage RIFLE GUN Chocolate Mold. Made by LeTang in Paris, France. Number on this mold- 3918. Listed in CHOCOLATE MOULDS A History & Encyclopedia by Judene Divone. It is highly rated as a high B3. Dates of manufacture were 1928 to 1965. This Fabulous RIFLE Measures 3 1/4″ Tall by 15″ wide and is 1 deep. This mold would make a solid chocolate RIFLE. This mold fits nice and tight together and it is a truly matched mold. Nice heavy gauge metal used for this mold. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and maybe a tiny rust speck and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful old patina. This Original French mold is marked LeTang 108 Fils, Rue Vieille Du Temple on both sides, and bears the mold #3612. Extra large piece measures 11″ tall x 9 1/4″ wide x 4 1/2 deep. The base opening measures 3 1/2″ long x 2 3/4″ wide. Very clean both inside and out, with only light, minimal surface wear. Has a little tape residue on the flat surface behind the head of the left side which should be easily removed. Comes with two Original clips. Please see all pics for details. It was deemed an “art deco” Santa because it was created during that era. The two piece mold is in excellent shape for its age and comes with the clips in photo. ANTIQUE GORILLA CHOCOLATE MOLD LETANG RARE seldom seen mold

Antique Gorilla Chocolate Mold. This early Gorilla Chocolate Mold was made in France by LETANG FILS. It depicts a seated Gorilla smiling for the camera! The mold measures 6 1/2″ tall X 5 1/4″ (at widest width) X 2 1/2 deep. It is faintly marked LETANG FILS, R. VIELLE DU TEMPLE” in an oval shape with “108 in the center. This mark appears on the front of the Gorilla’s left elbow (see picture 9). The mold number on the back right side looks like number “4007”. This mold is a match – it fits together perfectly. Two clips are included. The exterior surface shows some thinning as well as normal marks and wear consistent with age. In addition, the Gorilla’s muzzle (nose/mouth area) is slightly flattened. Despite this minor imperfection, this is a great old mold (See Photos). The inside of the mold is clean with minimal wear. Contact me if you have any questions – and I will respond quickly. Antique Chocolate Mold VERY RARE -LeTang Santa on Roof Putting Toys in Chimney

For your consideration is a VERY RARE French chocolate mold: LeTang’s old world Santa on rooftop putting toys in chimney with a basket on his back filled with more toys for the good little children. The mold is in great shape given its age. Obviously, the mold suffers with oxidation issues and one of Santa’s elbows is dented. The dimensions of the mold are 5″ (H) X 4″ (L at the base). Note all of the details on the mold such as the doll being put in the chimney on the front side, the singles on the roof, the chimney bricks, and the fur at the bottom of Santa’s robe. This mold is not marked. The clips are included in the sale. The ornaments, the Hershey’s print block, and Hershey candy box are not included in the sale.
