SPECTACULAR Antique Vintage ST. NICHOLAS WITH TWO CHILDREN Chocolate Mold. And # 4 on both sides. HAS THE TOP METAL PLUG, WHICH YOU NEVER FIND WITH THE MOLD! Plug sells for 100.00 alone! This is a BEAUTIFUL German Mold! Very Early – Nice Old mold with a dark patina. Measures 8 1/4″ tall and 5 1/4″ wide and 2 1/4 deep. This mold would make a solid chocolate St. Very very Nice used condition. Nice heavy gauge metal used for this Santa. Nice inside so you can make chocolate Santa’s. This mold fits together snugly. Fits tight so you could use to mold chocolate. In good used antique condition. See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina. This mold has honest wear and was in service many decades. This is smallest Anton Reiche mold in my collection!! Very special and hard to find. From the detailed face of the little boy to the pleats in his shirt and pants and the nicely tied scarf. The mold carries the Anton Reiche stamp, both sides carry the #4 and the 6866. The height is 3.5″, the width 3.25″. Very hard to find piece, in excellent condition! The top and bottom half both measure 10.5 inches in diameter, with a flange that sticks out and additional. 75 of an inch on all four sides. The bottom half measures about 2.75 inches deep, the top is only about 1.5 inches deep. The handle on top sticks up another 1.75 inches. Both pieces are in excellent condition, with only minor scuffs here and there from prior use It looks like it might not have ever even been used. This heavy duty piece weighs in just under 9 pounds. The snow man is dressed in a button down coat , top hat and holds a broom. These molds are so hard to come by because they are so collectible. Their purpose was not intended for mass producing chocolate candy but to create pieces for special occasions or display in a chocolate shop’s window to lure in the customers. What a romantic sentiment!! This mold is an Anton Reiche design but stamped with the Lauroesch mark. Lauroesch took over many Reiche designs after WWII. The mold is 20.5 tall Both sides are stamped with #5001. A magnificent piece for any collection. This is a Kutzscher 3 D (3 parts) mold circa 1920, very unusual with incredible detail. The kids faces are so adorable along with the details of 1920’s children’s clothing. All three parts are stamped with the # 7. The width is 6 3/4″ , the height 7 3/4″ A truly one of a kind wonderful mold. A must for every collection.
