LETANG FILS PARIS CHOCOLATE MOLD. Acquired at an estate sale is this antique Letang Fils Paris egg shaped chocolate mold. See photos for hallmarks including “1521 8″ on one and 1529 8 on the other half. Each half measures 5 ¼ inches across from tab to tab, inside measures about 2 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches by 1 ¼ inches. Antique Chocolate Mold Orginal Mickey Mouse From 1920s Rare
My grandmother had this for many years and had a old chocolate mold book written in French from early 90s with this little fella priced at 600….. That was in the 90s. I could not find any recent auctions for this particular mold but I’m sure it’s worth more that that now. I’m liquidating my estate due to health issues. Please check out my other items.

THIS BEAUTY MEASURES 18 1/2″ TALL BY 9 1/2″ WIDE. AND THE MOLD IS 5 DEEP. THIS MOLD IS MARKED marked with the number 8000. THAT DENOTES THAT IT WAS MADE BY THE EPPELSHIMER CO. THIS MOLD FITS TOGETHER SNUGLY, SO ITS PERFECT TO MOLD CANDY. IT IS IN VERY GOOD USED ANTIQUE CONDITION. HAS BEEN WELL CARE FOR AND DOESN’T LOOK LIKE IT WAS USED THAT MUCH. Antique 9H Chocolate Mold Easter Egg Cherub Bacchus Rabbits Grapes Hops Barley
Collector large 2-pc Easter egg chocolate mold harks to pre-Christian motifs of drink and fecundity. The central figures are a cherub Bacchus flanked by 2 smiling rabbits rampant. The rabbit on the left has its left front paw on baby Bacchus’s shoulder. The rabbit on the right is holding a drinking vessel. At their feet are 2 smaller, merry dancing rabbit pups. Pics 3-6 detail: Encircling the main 3 figures are wine grapes & leaves at top and upper sides, hops blossoms at middle sides and barley sheaves at lower sides of the smaller rabbit pair. Pics 7-9: insides of the 2 pieces. In excellent condition for its age and use. Overall measures 9″H x 6″W x approx. Unmolded egg would measure approx. 8 1/2″H x 5 3/4″W x 5D.
