Vintage Pair Maritime French Chocolate Mold With Chalkware Figures, 5 3/4 & 6
This Vintage Pair, male & female, maritime, nautical, French chocolate molds (5 3/4″ female, male 6″ tall) are rare collectibles. The molds were first made in Paris by Letang, a copy of the 1934 catalog page is among the photos. Letang went out of business many years ago. The Chalkware created in the 1980’s is also included. The figures were crackle painted and antiqued for the look of ” old” by a professional Chalkware artist. The molds are in good condition for their age. No rust or holes. Wear consistent with their age and use in the production of chocolate figures. The photos are part of the description, please examine them carefully. A photocopy of the Letang catalog page will be included. Idea for display: place on a shelf with French cookbooks, vintage baskets or lavender candles.
Thomas Mills And bros. Cast Iron Clear Toy Candy Mold #158 Cow With Calf
This cast iron mold is number #158, (very difficult to make out) listed as Cow with Calf in the Mills catalog. I added a picture so you can see the calf on one side. Being cast iron, it has separation between halves, but due to the fast cooling properties of cast iron, the flashing on the candy is minimal. I just made a batch to illustrate the candy that it produces. This is a great addition for both collectors and candy makers.

Rare Antique Chocolate Mold Letang Paris Charlie Chaplin 7 1/2
This is a French mold that resembles Charlie Chaplin (The Tramp) with a cane in one hand; the other hand is in the pocket of his baggy pants. Very good condition front and back belong together. I suspect that it is made by Letang, Paris because of one of the clamp bears that name. Wide 8.5 cm. Depth 3.8 cm.
