Beautiful mold that I do believe to be a Buffalo but could also be seen as a Cow. Two condition issues to mention. Bottom hinge needs to be tightened. When picked up it droops a bit because it isn’t tight. The pin looks like it is still in there. Secondly, a piece is missing by the foot. Not sure if this was intentional or it is broken. Heavy mold weighing 650 grams or 1.4lbs. Solid brass or copper as it is non magnetic. 5.5″ long and 3.25″ tall. I don’t see any makers marks. You can see patina on the metal.
