Offered here is an antique wooden gingerbread speculoos or speculaas cookie mold board, of presumed European make (likely German). Features block lettering “FdH”. 13.75″ long and 3″ wide. Mold board shows wear and splitting in the wood that is consistent with vintage use. There is a small hook screwed into the top of the board which was probably added later to accommodate display.

Double-Sided Springerle Speculaas Wooden Mold Board. 20 Shapes – Man Woman Animal Flower Bird +. 19 3/4″ long x 5 1/8″ wide x 1 thick. One side has Man/Woman shapes that range from 3.5″ to 3.75″ high to 1.5″ to 1.75″ wide. The other side varies for a variety of shapes. The kerbschnitzerei (chip carving) shows very nicely.
