An antique chocolate mold in the shape of the white stork of France. It can still be used today to mold chocolate or even butter. Can you imagine all the little stork chocolates and butters for a baby shower? The tin metal form in the shape of a stork was used to make chocolate figures. The stork is a good luck symbol in France and delivering babies in the US. The mold has been painted with a black paint. It has a hole at the top for hanging and two raised bumps on alternate sides to fit indents on the other sides. The base is a round hole to fill and let excess chocolate out. There is a notch on one side to tie the pieces together. The word FRANCE is stamped above a wing on one side. There is also a diamond shape with the number 23 within and a production number of 55. 5 Âľ” (14.6 cm) tall x 4″ (10.2 cm) wide x 1 7/8 (4.8 cm) thick. Weighs 3.7 oz (105 g). There are no breaks, cracks, or dents. There are significant paint losses on both the inside and outside. A fun mold to make storks with. We just ask that you notify us before returning and obtain our authorization. This will ensure quick processing.
Antique hinged metal chocolate mold for a pair of Easter bunnies, complete with working clasps. Unmarked, though likely European, as I have numerous chocolate molds listed now from the same estate, and all the marked molds are from France, Germany, and Great Britain. In very good condition overall – these were used and there is some wear, rust, and residue, though no dings and it’s fully functioning.
In fair preowned condition. Heavy overall wear and discoloration. Some minor remnants from past use. Stamped with model number 256. Measures approximately 9″ in length and 1.5″ tall.
This is an incredibly rare TC Weygandt football chocolate mold. It is a hinged mold, and both latches work. The laces side is in good condition, however the side that the mold lays on has corrosion. It does have heavy wear as I can imagine this was a popular mold for the chocolate shop from where it came from. It is old, definitely prewar, probably turn of the 20h century when football was in its infancy. Please look at the pictures carefully as it is not in perfect condition.
