RARE Antique LARGE Copper Chocolate Mold Classic Sitting Lamb AAFA. This is a very rare and, possibly, one-of-a-kind chocolate mold, depicting a resting lamb. Formed of a heavy gauge copper exterior, with a tin interior. The entire mold measures 13″ w x 8.5″ h x 5 d. The lamb is finely detailed with very curly coat, folded legs, flowing tail. Upturned ears, and rests on a mound with floral detail. There are three folded steel braces/clips for holding the two halves together. Marked D 7 , there are no other markings or a makers mark. This is a truly exceptional piece and would make a unique addition to a copper mold collection. Circa: 1920 – 1930. Minimal exterior wear appropriate for age and soft copper material. Very few scratches and almost no dings. Highly detailed & very clean piece. Interior in good condition with some loss of tin finish in spots. No distortion or warping to form. The clips work well.
