This is a rare, antique American pewter mold in the shape of Father Knickerbocker, the symbol of New York City. This is a very heavy mold done in three sections. The figure of a man’s head with colonial style hat and colonial hair (see pony-style hair in back section). The back section has the mark of the Eppelsheimer co. With no mold number. Although we did not see a mold number on the object, with the information from another eBayer, it is Eppelsheimers, 994. This is the only example of this type we have seen. H: 4 ½”, W: 4 ½”.
This is a Gorgeous Antique Chocolate Mold by Anton Reiche, Dresden that is a Christmas Chocolate mold in the Form of Father Christmas that has most if not all of it’s Original Tinning on the inside and outside is Numbered and Signed but just the Anton is visible as the hinge obstructs the Reiche and measures 7″ x 7″ and just in time for your Holiday Baking.
