Awesome old German made Dutch show chocolate mold made for a candy company in New York as stamped on the edge. Looks like an ANTON REICHE but it doesn’t have the usual mark. 1 original clip still with it. Excellent patina and very nice condition. Measures 4 1/2 inches wide overall.

This vintage, Montreal Carnival snowman is wearing a hat, scarf and sash. Made in the Netherlands, these two halves are stamped and numbered. The mold is in good condition for its age. There is some minor pitting from previous owners leaving chocolate in it. There are no holes or rust. The two pieces fit together well. The inside is shiny and suitable for chocolate making. Paper mache, beeswax and chalkware can also be created using this mold. The photo and painted chalkware figure IS NOT included, it is for inspiration only. The board is quite heavy and the wood is uncommonly smooth. The kerbschnitzerei or chip carving shows brilliantly. It’s a work of art! Dimensions; 24 inches long; 1 1/4 thick; 4 1/4 wide; characters are 3.5 to 4 inches tall and include birds, lion, elephant, cattle, man riding chicken, dog, goat and sheep. I’ve owned a lot of springerle and speculaas boards over the years, this piece is for an advanced collector.

This pair of antique Hand Carved Dutch Speculaas Cookie Molds, featuring a man, woman, and a dog, are stunning. The detail is incredible. Although they are unsigned and not dated the craftsmanship and the density of wood grain indicates that these are old. Each has a small hole in the top, back side so that they can be hung. These have been used and there is some residue in the crevices of the design. Measures 12×4¾x2½ and weighs less than 2 pounds.
