ART NOUVEAU Arts & Crafts COPPER Toffee Slab or Chocolate Bar Mould Kitchenalia. Offered here is an Extremely Rare and lovely piece of Kitchenalia. This is a mould for making TOFFEE or CHOCOLATE in. These were used by sweet shops , in the late Victorian period before mass production of sweets and chocolate. It is in English and is stamped ROMOLA. This is influenced by both the ART NOUVEAU and ARTS and CRAFTS period. The entire piece measures 18 inches x 8.5 inches and it has a gallery which measures 1 inch. Antique 19th Century English Copper Pudding Chocolate Mold

This antique solid copper pudding , chocolate mold has a multi-tiered design typical for the 1800’s and early 1900’s. From England, it has the number 295 stamped on the lower side. Measures 4-1/2” tall by 4” across the top with a base 5-1/2” across in a tapering design. Unpolished, it has attained a nice patina which shows various dents and highlights the tiered design. The under side shows a well darkened surface from its years of use. In very good condition. RARE Antique LARGE Copper Chocolate Mold Classic Sitting Lamb AAFA. This is a very rare and, possibly, one-of-a-kind chocolate mold, depicting a resting lamb. Formed of a heavy gauge copper exterior, with a tin interior. The entire mold measures 13″ w x 8.5″ h x 5 d. The lamb is finely detailed with very curly coat, folded legs, flowing tail. Upturned ears, and rests on a mound with floral detail. There are three folded steel braces/clips for holding the two halves together. Marked D 7 , there are no other markings or a makers mark. This is a truly exceptional piece and would make a unique addition to a copper mold collection. Circa: 1920 – 1930. Minimal exterior wear appropriate for age and soft copper material. Very few scratches and almost no dings. Highly detailed & very clean piece. Interior in good condition with some loss of tin finish in spots. No distortion or warping to form. The clips work well. Antique Chocolate Mold Anton Reiche Rare Old Vintage Tin Copper Metal Candy

Rare Anton Reiche Antique, Vintage Very Detailed Large Rabbit Couple w/ Basket Chocolate Metal Mold. 8″ high x 8″ long x 2 1/2 wide. The detailing of this mold is exquisite and is a very early antique chocolate mold made from a stamped sheet of copper. History shows that as early as the 1840’s double chocolate molds were made from copper which were then washed in silver. Sometime around the 1860’s the silver wash was replaced by tinning because it was cheaper and would last longer. Copper sheeting was used up until the 1890’s when the switch was made to steel, this switch over was completed by the 1910’s. This mold is clearly within the time period of which some of the earliest chocolate mold pieces were made as seen by the the copper showing through. The fine workmanship of this antique mold would be indicative of an Anton Reich chocolate mold as no other mold makers could match his artistry, but because this mold is so well loved the manufacturers mark can not be seen.
