FOR USE WITH SPRINGERLE, GINGERBREAD, SHORTBREAD, SPECULAAS COOKIES AND MARZIPAN/SUGAR CONFECTIONS. NICHOLAS IS WEARING HIS TRADITIONAL CLOTHING: A MITRE, STOLE, CROSIER AND ROBE. THE MOLD IS 4 7/8″ W X 11 5/8″ H X 1 3/8 THICK. NICHOLAS IS AN HONORED FIGURE ACROSS THE WORLD, ESPECIALLY IN CANADA AND EUROPE, DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. THIS MOLD IS USED AND IN EXCELLENT CONDITION – WEAR IS SOMEWHAT CONSISTENT WITH THIS CIRCA 19TH TO EARLY 20TH CENTURY MOLD. THERE ARE NO OBVIOUS ISSUES WITH THE HAND-CARVED FIGURAL ST. This pair of antique Hand Carved Dutch Speculaas Cookie Molds, featuring a man, woman, and a dog, are stunning. The detail is incredible. Although they are unsigned and not dated the craftsmanship and the density of wood grain indicates that these are old. Each has a small hole in the top, back side so that they can be hung. These have been used and there is some residue in the crevices of the design. Measures 12×4¾x2½ and weighs less than 2 pounds.
