This is a set – the Bride and Groom ice cream molds. They are both well marked E & Co. And with their sequential numbers 1148 & 1149. The Groom is rather simple although he is wearing a flower in his lapel, the detail on the bride is just exquisite.
Beautiful hand painted Victorian chalkware Santa figurine. Made using an antique European chocolate mold. Incised Maya’94 on bottom and hand signed Maya’96 on body (so painted a few years after the mold was made). Very nicely painted with no odors, chips or other issues.
