Hinged Santa chocolate mold, # 143. Founded in 1930, Randle & Smith, Ltd. Manufactured chocolate molds out of Birmingham, England. At the time, they were the only maker of early chocolate molds. This mold was made sometime between 1955 – 1960. The mold model number is stamped on the mold. However, in the attached photograph, and on the mold itself, the first digit (4) is hard to see but it is there. It is above the body of the truck near the clip on one side.
