Rare Vintage Anton Reiche of Dresden, Germany, Chocolate Mold No. 32934 Side of mold stamped with joined AR in circle + “Anton Reiche Dresden” and “38” Heavy metal mold 8.5″x6 1/2″x5/8 makes 18 individual chocolates. Each in the shape of a meditating Buddha in a Yoga lotus position. Below each Buddha is a banner marked “TJOKLAT” (chocolate), in Fantastic condition, as pictured. I sell previously owned, antique, vintage collectibles and jewelry. Be aware that these items are not perfect unless otherwise noted. They will likely have some degree of wear due to age. I do not clean the items, they are in as found condition. Cleaning or polishing is left up to the new owner. This is a RARE Unmarked METAL ANTON REICHE WEYGANDT BEAR MOLD with 4 BEARS. IT IS PART OF THE CIRCUS SERIES. THE MOLD IS 9 1/2 INCHES LONG. IT IS 5 INCHES TALL AND INCHES WIDE. IT IS APPROX 3 LBS. When Germany began preparing for war in the 1930’s, Weygandt was unable to get chocolate molds from Reiche and began manufacturing molds himself, initially copying known Reiche designs. He eventually developed his own molds. Weygandt’s early molds were marked T. NEW YORK on two lines. Characteristic of his later molds is a flange that appears to be cut in a’V’.
