This Mold measures 6 3/4″ tall by 5 1/2″ wide and is 2 1/2 deep. RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER appeared on the scene in 1939 when the book RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER BOOK was written by Robert May and published by Montgomery Ward! The rest is history! This mold fits together snugly and is clean on the inside so you can make chocolate Rudolph’s. In very good used vintage condition. Rare Antique & Vintage Easter Rabbit / Bunny Triple Chocolate Candy Mold
Very Rare Antique & Vintage Triple Easter Rabbit Chocolate Mold. The item is unmarked but bears a strong resemblance to T. Weygandt molds from the 1920s made in the USA. The mold consists of three rabbits banded together on a hinged pewter frame with two clamps. The interior molds are tin. This is a very heavy duty mold weighing in at about 4lbs. There are four knotches on the bottom of the exterior frame so the entire mold can be suspended from a hanging rack. This is a very useful feature not seen on many other molds up for sale! The item is in used condition and shows typical signs of wear and tear given its age (patina; very light rust in spots). It was owned and regularly used by a culinary professional and chocolatier. What’s important to note is that the interior tin molds are in very good shape, which I’m told is crucial to a mold’s functionality and value. Note: in a few spots, there is the tiniest bit of minor rusting/discoloration on the outermost lip of the interior molds. It does not appear that this would affect the chocolate molds. Wonderful Antique Vintage MILITARY SWORD Chocolate Mold. This is a RARE find indeed! Not marked, but this is made by the LeTang Co Paris, France. Stamped with the numbers 3 on both sides. Seldom found this Sword measures 3 1/4″ tall by 15″ wide and maybe 3/4 deep. This mold and fits together snugly. In good used antique condition. See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and maybe a tiny rust speck and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina from almost 100 years of usage! This mold has honest wear and was in service many many decades. Imagine receiving a Chocolate Sword when you were a little child! Not much information on Swords in my research books. Collector large 2-pc Easter egg chocolate mold harks to pre-Christian motifs of drink and fecundity. The central figures are a cherub Bacchus flanked by 2 smiling rabbits rampant. The rabbit on the left has its left front paw on baby Bacchus’s shoulder. The rabbit on the right is holding a drinking vessel. At their feet are 2 smaller, merry dancing rabbits bunny pups? Pics 3-6 detail: Encircling the main 3 figures are wine grapes & leaves at top and upper sides, hops blossoms at middle sides and barley sheaves at lower sides of the smaller rabbit pair. Produced about 1927 to 1939. This Mold is almost 100 years old! Mold is marked with the number 19 on both sides. Mold fits together nice and tight and is truly a matched mold. The two sides have the same Beautiful matching patina. Nice Heavy Gauge Metal used for this Mold. The inside is Very clean and can be used to mold chocolate.
