Antique Vintage HORSE SHOE Chocolate Mold. This is a German Mold made and signed Anton Reiche, Dresden, Germany. The mold is signed with the numbers 4551 and the name Anton Reiche and the date 1925. The Mold measures 4 1/2″ tall by 4 1/2″ wide and is 1 1/4 deep. In Very Very good used antique condition. This HORSE SHOE mold is unusual because of the big metal back. It sets off the table by 1/3 so you can slam the chocolate candy out! First Anton Reiche Mold I have ever seen with this design. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and some rust and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina from almost 100 years of usage! This mold was in service many many decades, but is in Fabulous nice condition. You don’t find many HORSE SHOE Chocolate Molds so I would say this mold is on the rare side. There is a similar a photo of a Horse Shoe Chocolate Mold in CHOCOLATE MOLDS by Wendy Mullen. Would be a great mold to use for the Kentucky Derby! Antique Vintage Classic Sitting Bunny Rabbit with Basket on His Back Chocolate Mold. This is an American Mold by Eppelsheimer in New York. The Bunny Mold measures 11 1/2″ tall by 6 3/4″ wide and the opening is 3 3/4. This mold fits together snugly and is very clean inside so it could be used to make chocolate bunnies. In VERY good used antique condition. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and rust specks and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Wonderful Antique Vintage MILITARY SWORD Chocolate Mold. This is a RARE find indeed! Not marked, but this is made by the LeTang Co Paris, France. Stamped with the numbers 3 on both sides. Seldom found this Sword measures 3 1/4″ tall by 15″ wide and maybe 3/4 deep. This mold and fits together snugly. In good used antique condition. See the photos as part of the description. Absolutely Wonderful Antique Vintage ANTON REICHE HALLOWEEN JACK-O-LANTERN CHOCOLATE MOLD. Measures 10″ long and 3 1/2″ wide when closed. It will mold a 2 1/2″ by 3″ Jack – O – Lantern. This Beautiful Mold is stamped ANTON REICHE of Dresden, Germany. Also stamped with the mold # 24271. And is also dated 1928. This Fabulous Jack – O – Lantern Chocolate Mold is listed in CHOCOLATE MOULDS – A HISTORY & ENCYCLOPEDIA by Judene Divone on page 144. Produced from 1927 to 1939. This Mold is almost 100 years old! Mold fits together nice and tight and is truly a matched mold. The hinges work beautifully. The two sides have the same Beautiful matching patina. Nice Heavy Gauge Metal used for this Mold. The inside is Beautiful and is Very clean and can be used to mold chocolate. THE OUT SIDE HAS THAT DARK PEWTER GRAY PATINA that COLLECTORS LOVE. CHOCOLATE MOLD ANTON REICHE DRESDEN SANTA ON MOTORCYCLE. Mold made by Anton Reiche Dresde n/Germany. Anton Reiches chocolate molds are among the most famous in the world and are collectors. The offered form was made for the company Magus by Anton Reiche. On The bottom the are marked Magus. The hinged bottom panel of this mold has the name Magus in reversed lettering. The name appears on every finished chocolate. Anton Reiche molds with hinged bottom are rare. I could not find anything to Magus company. The serial number is 24312. The hinged base plate is marked with the sign. Means: German Reichsgebrauchsmuster = registered design of the German. In reality, the shapes look better than in the photos.
