ANTIQUE KUTZSCHER 5573 HORSE WITH SADDLE CHOCOLATE MOLD. Beautiful large antique three piece metal chocolate mold of a horse with saddle. A picture of this mold is shown in a photo of a catalog page in Wendy Mullen’s second book and is found on page 108. There is a lead insert (shown in the photos) that created the ears and helped keep them from breaking off when the mold was opened. Remarkably great condition for it’s age. The mold is clean and rust free inside. MATCHING 5 ON EACH SIDE 10 by 10 beautiful original patina (not retinned) includes top plug stamped 5573 some separation along sides as pictured primarily and front about 6. Antique vintage metal chocolate mold of German Santa, Belsnickle, Father Christmas. This detailed antique chocolate candy mold has beautiful movement, detailing, and expression. This allows for the finished piece to have a wonderfully exaggerated posture and head tilt as if to be looking slightly upwards. This Belsnickle antique mold has his hand in the textured bag full of apples he carries at his side. This mold is marked with the catalog number of 10281 and measures approx. 6 1/2″ x 3″ at widest points. Perfect for your collecting display, to give as a gift or for chalkware / paper mache / beeswax crafting. During WWII many chocolate factories were either forced to shut down or were bombed, leaving very little standing.
