I believe this antique double Santa Claus hinged chocolate mold was made by the Anton Reiche company in Dresden, Germany c. The hinges and snaps look similar to the molds made by Reiche as does the figure of Santa Claus. It is heavily made of tinned steel with the strong metal brackets and bracing associated with molds by Reiche. It is 9″ tall x 8.25″ wide x 2.5 deep. There are three small splits in the molds: two on Santa’s left glove and one just below the belt on the Santa on the right. The snaps and hinges all work beautifully and the interior tin lining is in good condition.
