This is a really high quality mold–of the type typically made in the 1930’s. Amazing detail and quality. When you view the mold from the side you can see it curves. It was to solve a problem with getting the most three dimensional figure from a mold. Last photo shows this. Lesser molds do not have this detail. Features a chick still in its egg but wearing a bonnet with wings, head and feet bursting out of the egg. Marked 13039 which I cannot find in any of my books. Also stamped 68 on each side so the sides do match. Entire mold is 4 1/2 inches by 3 3/4 inches wide with 1 1/2 inches of depth at its thickest point. Please see photos and ask questions before purchasing. The item “Vintage Antique Chocolate Mold Easter Chick in Bonnet and Bow 4 1/2 inch Reiche” is in sale since Tuesday, January 26, 2021.
