Offering an antique chocolate mold. This very early piece is made of 2 heavy cast aluminum sides, and is hinged. It measures 15″ wide x 5 1/2″ high. It has four delightful animals sitting on Easter baskets. The exterior of the mold has a primitive look with aged patina. The interior of the molds show details of an Easter Bunny, rabbit, chick and hen. There is a break at the bottom of the mold. This is a fabulous display item. Please see photos for details.
This is a fantastic antique chocolate bunny mold! It is hinged and has major outside reinforcements. All of the metal is magnetic. There are no identifying maker’s marks. It measures 8 1/2″ tall x 5 1/4″ wide (when closed) x 2 1/4 deep and weighs almost 3 pounds.
Antique in found condition; please examine the many photos. A lot of good molds on the tray. The tray is made of a heavy metal so still very solid for use given the corners.
Vintage 12 Heris – Germany Tin Sitting Bunny Rabbit w/Flowers & Leaves 2-Part Candy Chocolate Mold w/ Clips. It is marked #314 Germany and each side is marked #23. It measures approximately 12″ tall, 11″ wide, 4-1/8 depth. Condition: Estate find – There are no breaks in the mold. There are 3 clips. It was previously used and displayed so there is wear. Please see photos as they are part of the condition. Colors between the pictures and the actual color may slightly vary due to light, flash of the camera. Please see our other auctions. The items may show some signs of wear due to their age. We are by no means experts but do try to describe the item(s) the best we can.
This is copper and dates back to about 1900. This is copper lined with tin on the inside. Some of the earliest chocolate molds were made with copper. The detail on this is just exquisite. Stamped Matfer just below the beak on one side. About 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Has a lot of patina and verdigris. Inside is lined with tin and has a few small rust spots.
