This is a hinged, clamped, and banded multiple figure chocolate mold depicting three Native Americans on rearing horses. It was manufactured by Anton Reiche of Dresden Germany. The mold has four markings: (1) Mold number “30332” which catalogs it as an Anton Reiche mold. (2) “MADE IN GERMANY” is marked on each horizontal hinged clip. On first line & NEW YORK N. C Weygandt of New York was an American agent for Anton Reiche molds and often times stamped their name on Reiche molds. This scarce mold is very study and quite impressive. It is structurally and functionally sound with all 4 clips snapping closed and the large hinge at the top functioning perfectly. On some surface areas of the mold there is darkening from usage and aging but the overall aged patina is very nice. The inside of the mold is very clean.
