Absolutely Wonderful Antique Vintage ANTON REICHE HALLOWEEN JACK-O-LANTERN CHOCOLATE MOLD. Measures 10″ long and 3 1/2″ wide when closed. It will mold a 2 1/2″ by 3″ Jack – O – Lantern. This Beautiful Mold is stamped ANTON REICHE of Dresden, Germany. Also stamped with the mold # 24271. And is also dated 1928. This Fabulous Jack – O – Lantern Chocolate Mold is listed in CHOCOLATE MOULDS – A HISTORY & ENCYCLOPEDIA by Judene Divone on page 144. Produced from 1927 to 1939. This Mold is almost 100 years old! Mold fits together nice and tight and is truly a matched mold. The hinges work beautifully. The two sides have the same Beautiful matching patina. Nice Heavy Gauge Metal used for this Mold. The inside is Beautiful and is Very clean and can be used to mold chocolate. THE OUT SIDE HAS THAT DARK PEWTER GRAY PATINA that COLLECTORS LOVE. Each is a two-part figural mold with tremendous detail; the original clips are not present. The large Turkey is marked with Mold #7502 (or #9502); the smaller example is marked with Mold #7068. Antique/Vintage chocolate mold of a two piece turkey mold, 8.75 – 9″ tall, and 7- 7.25″ wide made by the most awesome ANTON Reiche. It has the Reiche mark partially covered by a manufactured clamp, the mold number is also partially covered by another manufactured clamp, and allows the last 3 digits of the mold number to be seen, which are “946”. The inside of this mold is shiny and is suitable for molding. The exterior presents scratches, tarnish and worn tinning. No rust can be seen on this mold.
