The Easter bunny is pulling a big cracked egg cart. 6 inches by 3 1/2 inches tall. Pical scratches from use and clips. Front of mold has a few dents in the flange and it prohibits the mold from sealing perfectly. Inside looks like you’ll still be able to use it. Stamped 192 and this indicates it was made by Weygandt in the USA. This is a two part mold with an open egg and I’ve never really understood how they pour this type of mold. Do they just fill it up to the top and have a flat top on the egg part or is there some clever technique where they pour out the still warm chocolate in the egg part and make it hollow? Please note that any color you’re seeing on the mold in some of the photos is just a reflection of colors in the room or at times what I’m wearing! I was wearing a red shirt that day and you can see the color reflected.
This vintage, Montreal Carnival snowman is wearing a hat, scarf and sash. Made in the Netherlands, these two halves are stamped and numbered. The mold is in good condition for its age. There is some minor pitting from previous owners leaving chocolate in it. There are no holes or rust. The two pieces fit together well. The inside is shiny and suitable for chocolate making. Paper mache, beeswax and chalkware can also be created using this mold. The photo and painted chalkware figure IS NOT included, it is for inspiration only. Please examine the photos as they are part of the description.
