Wonderful Vintage Antique RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER Chocolate Mold. This is a RARE find indeed! This RUDOLPH Mold measures 4 3/4″ tall by 4 1/2″ wide and 2 1/4 deep. Open it measures 9 wide. Signed on the side of this mold it is marked RUDOLPH RLM. RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER was first introduced in a book written by Robert L. May in 1939 while working for Montgomery Wards. The rest is history! This mold fits together snugly. It is in very good used antique condition. Clean inside and can be used to mold chocolate. This is called a Strap Mold. See the photos as part of the description. You will find scratches, dings, scuffs and the usual wear and tear – all commensurate with age. Has a wonderful patina. This mold has honest wear and was in service many years. This is an EXTREMELY RARE CHRISTMAS MOLD and in nice 80 year old antique condition.
