This copper ring mould is marked with a crown above the initials P K. The maker is marked JONES BROS DOWN ST W. The condition is very good. There is a very tiny ding on the top that is hardly noticeable. The base is 4″ the hight is 3 1/4″. Very good quality copper with lots of history. Thank you for looking. This antique Jelly cake mold is stamped Jones Bros Down. This mold is from before 1900. Very nice shape and condition. It has aged graciously, resulting in rich, beautiful, and distinctive patina colors. Ornate, and uniquely designed. Jones Bros of Down Street, West London was one of the best-known ironmongers who supplied the Duke of Wellington. Jones Bros was located on Down St. It was in business between 1832 and 1900. Jones Bros was well known for its quality copper cookware and medical sterilizing copper-ware, with signature marks Jones Bros. Stamped in a circle and engraved A. FIVE ANTIQUE ORIGINAL JELLY / CHOCOLATE MOULDS, MARKED JONES BROS, DOWN STREET, W. Jones brothers were makers of copper moulds from 1832 to 1900 based in Piccadilly, London. There is obvious wear from use and age, the tinning is not worn but they will need cleaning as there seems to be some specs of verdigree on some of them.
