This is copper and dates back to about 1900. This is copper lined with tin on the inside. Some of the earliest chocolate molds were made with copper. The detail on this is just exquisite. Stamped Matfer just below the beak on one side. About 4 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide. Has a lot of patina and verdigris. Inside is lined with tin and has a few small rust spots.

This is for a Vintage Antique Kewpie Doll Chocolate Mold made of Pewter – circa 1913. Tall, and 2-1/4 in. Great condition , see also pictures. There are no dents, chips, or breaks. Vintage 11-3/4 Tin Female Standing Bunny Rabbit in Apron w/ Basket 2-Part Candy Chocolate Mold w/ 2 Clips. It is marked #368. It measures approximately 11-3/4″ tall, 4-3/4″ wide, 5-1/4″ wide with clips, 3-1/4″ depth. There are no breaks in the mold. It was previously used and displayed so there is wear. There is also some surface rust and oxidation from now being dried and stored appropriately. Comes with two clips. Please see photos as they are part of the condition. Colors between the pictures and the actual color may slightly vary due to light, flash of the camera. Please see our other auctions. The items may show some signs of wear due to their age. This Vintage Metal Rabbit Chocolate Mold Is A Mother Rabbit With Her Baby On Back. It First Appeared In 1917. The completed figure made is 3 3/4 tall. The mold is in good shape considering it could be over 100 years old. There are no holes or rust, only the expected normal wear from a piece used for the manufacturing of chocolate. Inside is shiny and suitable for chocolate or crafts. The Chalkware in photo is included and was painted by a contributor in the Wendy Mullen book published by Schiffer. This Vintage Rabbit is 7″ tall and 5″ wide. There is incredible detail in this mold. The sideways rabbit has one paw on a basket, the other paw raised. The inside is shiney and suitable for chocolate, beeswax, paper mache or Chalkware. The mold has no holes, rust or damage considering the age.
