RS Prussia Chocolate Pot Antique Victorian Pedestal Lilacs Violets Extreme Mold

Prussia chocolate pot is an extreme mold. They are all pretty ornate but this takes the cake. It almost has a “pagoda” type feel. It sits on a pedestal of four feet, has an ornate curvy handle, two edges of the rim have a turned-up flourish and the handle is equally ornate. The body of the pot has a pierced raised area on both the front and back, and the spout is ornate with beads and flourishes beneath. The body of the pot is white, with a blue zig-zag across the middle of the body and blue touches on the feet, rims and spout. There may have been Tiffany finish in some areas, it is hard to tell. The flowers are a bouquet of purple or lilacs with multi colors strewn randomly. It’s gorgeous and a very hard to find mold. This mold is unnamed. It is shown in R. Prussia & More – Schlegelmilch Porcelain by Mary J. McCaslin; on page 239 (not nearly as ornate as this one), described as: chocolate pot/lid, floral, pedestal, ornate lid, unmarked. SIZE: The pot stands 9 1/2 to the top of the finial. CONDITION: There are no chips, no cracks, no hairlines. You will be happy to be the new owner.
