Weygandt Easter Rabbit Chocolate Candy Mold. Classic Sitting Hare Set of Three in a Hinged Pewter Frame AAFA. Triple rabbit hinged heavy metal chocolate mold in the style of Anton Reiche. From 1885 – 1942, T. Weygandt, NY was an agent for Reiche. But this mold is stamped. Rather than Dresden, Germany. The three identical sitting hare pewter molds were manufactured with an interior tinned surface. The set of three are banded and hinged together on a pewter frame with four heavy clamps. Lovely patina on this heavy duty cast pewter mold. My mom acquired this in the early 70s, and I used to make Easter holiday rabbits with it. Please look closely at photos before purchasing. Overall moderate exterior wear appropriate for age and soft pewter material. Highly detailed & very clean piece. Interior molds in excellent condition. The clips and hinges work well. Some scuffing & wear on the flanges. Pewter exterior has the patina of a bygone era. Some rust spots on the outside of molds and on areas of the frame. Individual rabbits: 5″ h x 3-1/4″ w x 1 d. (12.7cm x 8.3cm x 2.7cm). Full mold: 10″ w x 6″ h x 2 d (25.4cm x 15.3cm x 5.1cm). 2 lbs 10 oz. Feel free to contact me. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOUR FAVORITES AND CHECK BACK OFTEN. The item “Antique T. G.
