This mold is one of the amazing that I’ve ever had and certainly one of the oldest. This is brass and dates back to about 1900. I have no idea what sort of animal this is. It looks like some sort of fantasy sea creature. Or some sort of lizard hybrid. Whatever it is, it’s fantastic! The detail on this is just exquisite. Stamped Letang Fils Paris 108 R. Vieille du Temple on one side. Stamped 2748 on the other. That is the mold number. A little over 7 inches tall and about 5 1/2 inches wide at the widest part.
